PLEASE NOTE OUR OPENING TIMES HAVE RECENTLY CHANGED
Seasonal Opening Times
The Orchard is open seven days a week all year round, with the exception of some days around Christmas.
|March 1st through to October 31st - We open at 9.30am and finish serving at 5pm, the building closes at 5.30pm|
|November 1st through to February 28th - We open at 10am and finish serving at 4pm, the building closes at 4.30pm|
We serve morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea.
In the winter, the Pavilion takes centre stage and delicious hot lunches and 'winter teas' are served in the atmospheric setting, although the brave and hardy can still sit out in a deck chair!
We welcome parties of all sizes but do not take any bookings or reservations. The Orchard is no longer available for bookings of dinner parties, wedding receptions and functions.
How to Get Here
The Orchard is situated on Mill Way, just below the Church. There is a large car park - but not large enough for coaches. Many people enjoy walking or cycling to The Orchard from Cambridge along the famous Grantchester Meadows.

Picnics are not permitted. Only food and drink purchased at The Orchard may be consumed on the premises. Dogs are allowed in The Orchard itself but must be kept on a lead. If they have an accident you must clear up. Kids don't have to be kept on a lead, however, we do require that noise and charging about is kept within reason. The Orchard is not a playground. Deckchairs should always be correctly positioned before sitting down. If in doubt ask. Never reposition the chair whilst seated. Never stand up or fool around on the deckchairs -they can bite! Parking is strictly reserved for patrons whilst they are on the premises. Vehicles are left entirely at owners risk and The Orchard accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage. Trays and used crockery should be returned to the tray rack.
